Boston Symphony Orchestra will feature projects of Debussy, scheduled in conjunction with the upcoming BSO concert featuring the Debussy La Mer, on February 2 at Symphony Hall. Debussy project contest will feature 11 contestants wear night design. Symphony Hall doors will open at 7 pm on Thursday, allowing customers to view and vote on the dress, presented by the model chosen by the designers, and enjoy the lively atmosphere of the Symphony Hall before taking their seats for the concert at 8 pm. The winner will be announced on the project of Debussy’s fashion post-special concert event and reception in Higginson Hall.

The project is the fourth mode of Debussy competition based on works by composers who were held at Symphony Hall. The first event is the Mozart project, which took place during the 2008-09 season, followed by the Tchaikovsky project (2009-10) and Beethoven (2010-11). Past winners of the competition including Lowander Lee from Massachusetts College of Art and Design (project Mozart), rain Delisle from Massachusetts College of Art and Design (project Tchaikovsky); and Mary Canada from Rhode Island School of Design (Beethoven).

Calabro will compete with students from the school of Fashion Design, Massachusetts College of Arts and design, Mount Ida College, Framingham State University and Lasell College. Each contestant was given $ 100 towards the production of his design.

Winner projects of Debussy will be determined by a judging panel including Catheline van den Branden, President and Executive Director of the French Cultural Centre; fashion designer Sara Campbell; Jonathan Soroff, author of social features and columnists from the Boston deserves; Alan Bilzerian, owner of a clothing boutique Alan Bilzerian; and Althea Blackford, executive producer and a number of style It Up.
