There is a war taking place across our network, with operators and ISPS at that. But for fear of disturbances the network or an increase in the cost of the service, many ISPS and operators have shied from securing the traffic that flows through their cable.
Network security and analytics company Kindsight hoping to get a better ISP involved in front of it. Today, the company–a subsidiary of Alcatel-Lucent rolls out security Analytics platform Kindsight, designed to help service providers to analyze the network traffic for malware and security networks aggregate statistics. According to Kevin McNamee, security architect and Director of Security Labs, Kindsight provides customer insight platform infection so Internet service providers and mobile operators can identify and reduce malicious activity.
It is not surprising that the malware on YOUR ISP and mobile networks are growing. What Does raise eyebrows is how many end users are infected at any given time and how high that percentage spikes during the outbreak.
